Personal Injury Lawyer
Joel grew up in London, Ontario before moving out west to pursue his education. He attended MacEwan University where received a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting. He then attended to the University of Manitoba to start his law schooling, before transferring back to graduate with his JD from the University of Alberta in 2020. After graduating Joel articled in a small firm in Edmonton where he practiced primarily in the areas of real estate, wills, and family law. After completing his articles he was called to the bar in July of 2021. He then moved to Calgary to be closer to his family and worked for a small firm specializing in Family and Criminal law matters.
Joel started with Diamond and Diamond Lawyers in July of 2022. Joel is passionate about client service and is a perfect fit for helping clients with their personal injury matters, such as car accidents, dog bites, and slip and fall incidents.
When not practicing law, Joel is an active member of his local theatre community, most recently appearing as "Lenny" in the 2022 stage production of "Rumors" by Neil Simon and will be appearing as "Sergeant Meryll" in the 2023 production of "Yeomen of the Guard" by Gilbert and Sullivan. He also enjoys playing sports, reading books, playing games, spending time with family, and caring for his pets.
